1922. The silversmith Joseph Heinz establishes a workshop for fine tableware in the Black Forest and within a short time expands his range to include high-quality silver jewelry. 1960. His son Peter Heinz works as a master goldsmith in the development section of a jewelry manufacturer in Pforzheim, the German jewelry metropolis. His spouse Annelie Heinz, also a goldsmith, specializes in heavy hand-crafted gold chains. 1982. Together, they take over a company and produce housings for jewelry watches and small technical components for German watch manufacturers. 1999. Their children Stefanie and Jürgen found the TeNo jewelry label. Together with the industrial designer Eberhard Hagmann and his internationally decorated design company IDEA, they create objects of jewelry for the new millennium. 2009. Traditional craftsmanship, modern CNC technology, highly competent artisans, avant-garde designs–today, TeNo is a role model on all five continents. All TeNo products are created in Pforzheim, Germany. |
